You look at me, and somewhere in your mind you see...

A man Ill never be.

Alan=Served

Lets see...Volleyball starts today at the LakeO fair at 2:00pm. Everyteam in the tourney has one game and one game only. I think there's games until 5/6? The rest of the tourney is Saturday, but there's two courts now (FINALLY), so it should fly right by.

If you bet more than you can afford to lose, you have a problem. Also, if you wake up to porn and lotion...and you stay up or an hour to soak it in...you have a problem.

Public apology to my boys Geoff and Alan for not swimming with them last night. We went back in the derby and just kinda hung out for like an hour. Upon further review it was found that Ashton was home swinging on the rope the whole time..boo.

Wednesday and Thursday were pretty terrible days. Rather than post the whole story, I'll just recap a little. I spent pretty much every second from 10:00am to 9:00pm working on those posts on the volleyball courts. And it took 3 sets of boards and two trips to Alto because of various problems...anger. I swat (Scott Blocher term) more than I think i ever have before. I also let Harrison's tool bag fall out of the back of the truck..and it stolen shortly thereafter. Steve's wrenches were also stolen off of the rock when I was in alto, great. I forgot to take my dad's truck to Berger, so that trip happened at about 11:45, and then I LOCKED THE KEYS IN THE TRUCK. So I had to drive home and back to Ionia, getting to sleep at like 1:15.

Woke up at 4:30 and got my steer ready. Lucky for me, the show got delayed for 2 hours so I was ready all morning. One out there, my steer would NOT keep his head up and my shoulder was just on fire from lifting it. The judge told me i was being lazy and so my steer. THEN, my steer laid down IN THE RING. The judge then told me I was lazy, and now so was my steer. He kind of hut my feelings, not gonna lie. But I guess it's all over now, ain't no thang. Oh, and, I'm pretty much on edge every second I'm at the LakeO fair because Rachel is always there and as much as I'd like them to be...things just aren't normal. Side Note: Rachel was the 2005 Senior Showmanship Champ of the fair, congrats headin out.

Thursday night turned out a little better. I went to the gym in the afternoon to releive Travis, but he wanted to stay so I just ran until I was completely submersed in water. WE WON TWICE in softball, which was amazing. We overcame 8 and 10 run deficits respectively in the LAST inning of each game (19-18, 19-17). It was a thing of beauty. Darrin Stowell picthes now, and thats pretty helpful too. This guy (thumbs) had 2 Homeruns. They weren't real homeruns...lets be realistic here, but they they were playing shallow twice and both times it juuuuuustwent over their head. I didn't get hardly any action defensively, but I did make one throwing error, and i had some strange rundowns (mel was there). I recommend everyone attend those games from now on :) 8:15/9:15 next thursday. NOTE: No softball today.
LeeAnn, it's cool, i was just trying to make you answer your phone, hoping that hilarity would ensue....AND it didn't. That'll happen I guess.

Seriously though, if you're in the gym, you're not going to get made fun of, thatd be ridiculous. You don't need it, you're THERE. Better is better...gotta start somewhere. However, if you start to dance with weights (scott), or if you say you're coming THAT morning, anbd then dont show up (angie), it kind of hurts our feelings, and we tend to act accordingly.

LakeO fair should be fun tonight. Volleyball is sweet, and the talent show should be awesome. My bro is playing his guitar, so be there or be square, or be round, I don't even care, just make it happen. Abby, I'm happy to have you on here, I feel like you inspire some jargon. Katie Rubin facebooked me today, so you should get on that with your Northern email abby.

Wow, I've been typing for like 20 minutes, PEACE.
